GIRON S.A.I.C., ARGENTINE VALVES AND FITTINGS MANUFACTURING COMPANY specializes in the manufacturing of VALVES and ACCESSORIES. Founded in 1945, it has since then been providing both the national and international markets with the valves that best meet the requirements of the large oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical, vapour and nuclear industries. Our valves are manufactured under the following standards: API, ANSI, ASME, ASTM, MSS and they come with a user’s manual that guarantees our constant top-quality level, thus obtaining the trust and approval of all national and international industries which have operated and operate at present in the country, being either partially or fully supplied with our first-class products.

In spite of our size and ample participation in the market, our firm is nowadays dynamic and it easily adapts to the needs of the small and medium-sized enterprises (PIME), being this highly important for our daily business.

The controls which our valves undergo either in foundry or in our testing and mechanization plants are the following ones: visual control, check analysis of physical and chemical materials, penetrating inks, magnetic particles, X and/or Gamma Rays, Ultrasound, hardness, dimensional controls and a final hydrostatic test practised in 100% of the manufactured units. These controls enable us to assure the efficiency, duration and reliability of our production, this way our clients being supplied with a highly satisfactory wide range of products.

Our catalogue shows different types of standard valves produced in cast and forged steel, cast iron and different types of alloyed steel, in a variety of nominal measures, from 1/4" to 42". The codes under which the valves are classified are as follows: Type, Class, Endings, Body material, Mounting and Nominal Size.

Since we produce a great variety of valves and accessories, some of them are not included in our catalogue, particularly those which we, GIRON S.A.I.C., have especially designed and manufactured to suit our customers’ specific needs.
